Blast-Fault The Blast-Fault Pavement Repair System is a unique method of pavement repair and is long-lasting and economical. The system can be used to fix cracks, alligatored areas, and potholes.
Blast-Fault is a 3 step system.
First, the area is prepared with a blast of high pressure hot air. This removes all dust, debris and water.
Next, BFS sealant is then pressure applied at high temperatures. The rubber fortified asphalt fills and seals the area.
Then the area is covered by a high velocity blasting of cover aggregate. The aggregate gives extra strength to the repair as well as allowing traffic to proceed over the repairs immediately.
Lastly, the pavement is swept clean of loose debris by a vacuum sweeper truck.
